Lindsay, 1969-1970; Democratic Congresswoman, 1973-1981; faculty, New York University Law School and Graduate School of Public Administration, 1981-1982; district attorney, Kings County, Brooklyn, N.Y., 1982-1989; New York City comptroller, 1990-1993; career focus: civil rights, war crimes, government misconduct and accountability, interpretation of Constitution; discussions: prosecution of Nazi war criminals in US, impeachment proceedings against President Richard M. Nixon, attempts to impeach President George W. Bush, presidential accountability to the Constitution, revision of War Crimes Act in 2006; reminiscences: civil rights work in the South, route to politics, book projects.
