Born: 1948, Washington D.C. Education: B.A. Princeton University; University of Maryland School of Medicine. Career: medical corps officer, brigadier general, United States Army; senior advisor, neurobehavioral conditions and medical management, Department of Defense [DOD]; adjunct clinical professor, Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences; co-founder, Center for Translational Medicine; anti-torture expert, Physicians for Human Rights; psychiatrist.
